The city that never sleeps

We moved!!

Let’s rewind. We originally packed our bags for Switzerland almost 2 years ago so Zach could pursue his MBA at IMD Business School. What was meant to be a one-year academic adventure turned into the opportunity of a lifetime. Zach walked away not only with a degree, but we gained an incredible network of friends who became family. I found a new chapter in my own career that I am loving. We hosted loved ones from all corners of the globe, learned to navigate life in a new language, and grew in ways I’ll be forever grateful for.

Switzerland gave us more than mountains and chocolate—it gave us time. Time to rely on each other, to laugh at cultural mishaps, to build a life that was entirely our own. Weekends were spent skiing and hiking, I found joy in distance running and French classes, Mac learned to love riding trains through France and Italy, and we mastered the art of lakeside picnics with a cold bottle of rosé. Living in Switzerland has been a dream.

After Zach’s graduation, came the question: stay abroad or return to the U.S.? Many late-night conversations, contemplations, and an incredible opportunity later, we made a decision that felt right for us…New York City!

So with that leap of faith… A in the Alps is officially becoming A in the Apple. 🍎
Don’t worry—there will still be travel guides, favorite bites, and sips from around the world…and a bit of life in our new home!

I hope you’ll stay with me as I take a big bite out of the Big Apple.

xoxo, Adrienne
